What are the real things we need in life? Air, food, water,…..and love. The first 3 are no-brainers, but that last one can come in many forms (family, friends, etc.). Now, there are a couple of extra things I’d add to that essentials list: kindness, honesty/trust, giving/nurturing, etc.
I came upon this article 25 Unnecessary Attachments Carefree People Don’t Have. It touched on a number of things that I’ve either experienced in life or heard second hand that either relieve or cause strife in life. Simple.
Because in today’s world,…. who has time for anything but the bare essentials?
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
